The Lake People MC10 is a compact monitor controller and USB DAC built for accurate monitoring in space-constrained environments. Ideal for mobile rigs, editing suites, and small studios, it delivers professional-grade performance in a streamlined desktop format.
The MC10 features two inputs, USB-C digital and analog RCA and two line outputs via balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA. On the front panel, two headphone outputs (6.3 mm and 3.5 mm) provide convenient monitoring, both carrying the same signal and usable simultaneously.
Its USB-C input supports high-resolution AK4490 premium D/A converter up to 384 kHz / 32-bit PCM and DSD256, ensuring detailed, low-distortion playback suitable for critical listening and production work.
Volume control is handled by a high-grade Alps RK27 potentiometer, offering precise level adjustment and reliable repeatability.
Despite its compact size, the MC10 includes a powerful headphone amplifier with selectable pre-gain, allowing optimal matching for a wide range of headphone impedances and ensuring clean, controlled playback.
Flexible output management allows XLR, RCA, and headphone outputs to be activated individually or used simultaneously, adapting easily to different monitoring setups.
